Thunderfeet
Live on 101.9 FM CFUV
Thunderfeet recently took over the airwaves with a live performance on the University of Victoria’s campus radio, 101.9 FM CFUV.
He performed staple songs from his catalogue, such as; Vivid Vision, Elevated, and Menace. As well as some currently unreleased songs. In between songs, Thunderfeet shared his thoughts and wisdom, inviting the listener into a deeper experience than is normally possible at a live show.
Beyond the Edge
Beyond the Edge is a compilation EP, taking songs from a live performance and releasing a studio version of them. Bringing together Thunderfeet’s signature lyricism and insight, he combines it with bouncy bass music and electronic trap to create a listening experience to move your body and soul.
Apotheosis
Apotheosis follows a soul that descends into the underworld to claim the power hidden within the shadows. Thunderfeet explores themes of depression, disassociation, and despair then ultimately comes to a place of perseverance, and personal power because of overcoming that pain. The beats are heavy, and dark enhancing the emotional story told over the course of this EP. Thunderfeet also draws from a variety of influences for his vocals, including incorporating death metal style growls, and expanding into sung vocals.
This project was part of a large unreleased concept album and is not a reflection of Thunderfeet’s current sound and style.
The Inner Light
It’s been seven years since Thunderfeet released The Inner Light. It’s a testament to a different time, when he was a different person. Recent years has brought immense growth, as an artist and as a human. But the thoughts, and themes contained on The Inner Light still resonate today. When we feel surrounded by darkness, we must become the source of the Light.
